Fall 2010 Activities

OPEN ROOM
To encourage our gathering and pursuing the Lord together, we have reserved a room in the Reitz Union, from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Wednesdays in rooms 364 and B60. The basic idea is you can have appointments and small Bible Studies here.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES
To accomodate schedule differences we have small bible studies during the week between classes. On or off campus, pick a topic and pray for the Lord to gather us together and be in our midst. A lot of rich enjoyment of the Lord has come out of these small times in the last semester. Contact us for more information or to set up a time.

WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY
On Wednesday to join us for a time of fellowship to pursue the Lord together.
Location: Outside on West entrance of the Reitz, near Subway

FRIDAY NIGHT GROUP MEETINGS
Several local families have opened their homes to help shepherd the students. We meet in 3 or more groups to avoid having people get lost in the crowd. These times of open fellowship involving students and people from the community have been very encouraging for everyone.

SATURDAY NIGHT COLLEGE MEETING
On Saturday night we gather at the University House for a time of dinner, singing, and fellowship.

SUNDAY MORNING
On Sunday morning we gather to partake of the bread and wine to remember the Lord together.

STUDENT PRAYER AND COORDINATION TIME
Meet to pray and coordinate club activities.

UPCOMING CONFERENCES
The purpose of these conferences is to enjoy Christ in His Word in an environment that is free from busy schedules, anxieties of school, and other distractions. Often the Lord would take His disciples to a deserted place or a mountaintop far away from the crowds in order to unveil something deep and precious regarding God's eternal purpose (e.g. Matt. 17:1). At the conferences, we give the Lord a whole weekend to speak a personal and life-giving word to each one of us.

SOUTHEAST COLLEGE CONFERENCE
This is a great opportunity to meet other Christ-seeking college students from all over the Southeast and pursue Christ with them. Registration details will be forthcoming.

FLORIDA COLLEGE CONFERENCE
If you are unable to go to the Southeast College Conference, here is a second opportunity a little closer to home. The travel time is short, and the costs are reasonable. Just taste and see that the Lord is good. Registration details will be forthcoming.
